The Combined Arms of Stebbins and Sherman

This reference site complements the collections of the Monson Free Library, 2 High Street, Monson, Massachusetts which contains original and digital copies of photographs featured here, together with other information on the leading settlers of Monson.

All Stebbins and Sherman family members included are descendant from Capt. John Sherman through his granddaughter, Mariam Sherman Stebbins.  John Sherman of Brimfield, on behalf of the King, called the meeting of landowners to establish the town of Monson.
